Students and staff at the Moreton Bay North Training Alliance (MBNTA) are expected to uphold a high standard of personal conduct that reflects the professional nature of an industry training environment. As a multi-school alliance operating across real trade settings, maintaining safety, respect and professionalism is essential for all participants.

All MBNTA students are expected to demonstrate:

  • responsible behaviour
  • positive attitude
  • compliance with workplace health and safety requirements.

Our goal is for students to demonstrate strong employability skills and professional workplace attitudes that prepare them for success in both their training and future careers.

Workplace health and safety

Workplace health and safety (WHS) is a shared responsibility across all MBNTA sites. Students and staff must always conduct themselves in a safe and responsible manner, following all WHS procedures and directions from trainers and supervisors.

Effective management of WHS is integral to the operation of the alliance and applies to all training areas, facilities and partner schools. MBNTA promotes consultation and active participation between staff, students and industry partners to maintain a safe learning environment.

All members of the MBNTA community are encouraged to:

  • participate in the development and implementation of health and safety practices
  • support the ongoing improvement of safe work procedures
  • report hazards, near misses or unsafe conditions immediately.

Together, we maintain a learning and working environment that prioritises safety, professionalism and readiness for employment.
